Welcome aspiring musicians! I’m Paula, and I fell in love with the piano at age 3, picking out tunes by ear on a piano at my church. A few years later, my parents bought an old upright piano for me and enrolled me in piano lessons, and I’ve been entranced ever since! Now, with more than 30 years of teaching experience, I work with about 50 musicians of all ages in private and group lessons. Teaching and sharing music is my passion, and I’m always learning how I can do that better. In addition to teaching, I am the pianist at Grace Evangelical Church, and I frequently play for weddings and other events. I am an active member of the National Music Teachers Association, Tennessee Music Teachers Association, Greater Memphis Music Teachers Association, The National Guild of Piano Teachers, and the Germantown-Collierville Area Piano Teachers Association. I encourage my students’ participation in these organizations’ events. My goals are helping my students to become confident and creative musicians and building strong relationships with my students and their families.
